Every time I see this plant I think of your fabulous standard pruned one Janey. This is the best example I've ever seen...love it!

They're a great tree to have all year round aren't they Paul, I love the fine foliage too.
Thanks Karen! I must admit it is a lovely one, I shall prune it once the flowers fade, it keeps a good shape then for all year.

I might get one if I ever see one with a single stem that I can train like this, but they always look so messy in the GCs! You have the poshest tamarix in the UK Janey! lol ;)

Lol....they really suit being a standard don't they, I can't say I've seen another only the shrub type......I shall tell it tomorrow, just what a beauty it is....:))

Janey I bought one after seeing yours last year ,it died almost at once, I bought another one in the spring but so far it only has a little foliage ,I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it , I can wait for it to look as gorgeous as yours ...
