Athyrium (japanese painted fern)

I bought one of these today. Very pretty fern, isn't it?

Amazing! Bought 2 of these the other week. One has disappeared completely from the garden and I've been too afraid to plant the other incase it follows suit!!

My favourite fern, has been very slow to get going even though it is getting on now.....

Thats a shame Scottish, I've had this around 5 years now and every year I think I've lost it its so late emerging, it was a year before I dared plant it out :-)
