It is...lol...it looks nice now that it's big. Nice fluffy leaves.

A friend of mine calls them Lambs Lugs! I just love the velvet texture and you just can't resist stroking them can you?

I know them as Lambs ear. Yes you're right, they feel really nice to touch.

I've just planted this too. I think mine is going to be yellow though...shame because I think I prefer this! :)

what a lovely photo, so tactile and lamb's earish! they are an absolute godsend in my dry garden but have to be watched ever so carefully, if i dont curtail them severely they will march and seed all through my garden and through all my plants. i suppose you garden on dry soil too?

Yes...very dry soil. I water the garden every other day spring and summer (sometimes even in the fall). Lucky for us my dad has a well so there is always water for the garden. This plant is young, first time in flower. Thanks for that tip, I will make sure it doesn't take over the garden.
