Love broad beans when they are young. I have French Beans this year as well as Runners and Broad beans.

Oh yummy! I nicked one of the bosses beans t'other day, ate them raw! They've gone away for a few days so we get to eat their asparagus, which is great!

There doing well.

Well done OH, we've done French Breans this year, well we did start other beans, and nothing much happened....

Well one again Yorkshire, I planted 2 of them in a 10"
pot my first time to grow them, there about 14"high. By the way the advice you give me last year on storing the Begonias worked.I repotted them a couple of mounts ago.and they are sprouting out of the pots now.So thanks for that.

so glad the begonias are doing fine John, we now have most of ours in seven hanging baskets, still quite a few left in the greenhouse to go into the pots,

thanks for all your comments evryone, OH planted these last autumn and as Bloomer said they did take a hammering what with the gales, snow and frost,apparently if you plant them during the winter months it prevents black fly attacking them, or so he was told,

I put mine in the glasshouse when I potted them I was not sure if thats the right thing to do as I am facing south.I put a gauze over shelves to keep the glare of the sun off them do you think that is OK.
