Tried dividing once.....not very successful :/

Oh dear...did it not like it? I've always found them easy to divide...
Mind you, I've never had one that big!!!

I have it Lil and have divided it twice early in the season. It is great to have around the garden. Too late now!!!!

How early do you divide them Linda? Do you dig out the entire thing or cut into it when dividing?

Oh yes this is a beauty is it 'Big Daddy' ?
I've divided some of mine before by digging up the whole plant just as its showing through the soil early spring and splitting into pieces, making sure each piece has a few growing points :-))
