Actually, joking apart..looking at my pond today, the solar panel fountain has broken so there's been no movement in the water. The fish look poorly and the water looks terrible. Not sure what to do about it. Not sure if they like a complete change of water.

Are any of those plants oxygenating ones? any snails?

Lulu , I got a very cheap little pump that is easily put in and out of the water , and it aerates well .
Also OH has just treated our pond with stuff called Green Away , very effective without harming the fish and frogs .
Mind that Oliver does not end up in a pie , Stevie .

Just need to mend my solar panel.......Thanks Driad, I have no electrics at the pond....I can treat the pond, just need some sun to activate the 'algorem' I usually use. But as the panel on/off switch is broken and no movement in the water, the water looked awful tonight and the big goldfish are very still and staring at the sides.
