Those leaves look huge Lori , I wonder if it originated from here , Bressingham is not far from us and they do breed plants there and give them that name , you might like to Google Adrian Bloom ,Bressinham Norfolk England .. it had been a family business started by his father but has recently been sold to a larger gardening co. they are well known for their garden called 'Foggy Bottom ' you might find them under that !

Thanks Amy! In fact, I remember seeing the name H."Bressingham Blue" from years back. (I've wanted one for that long!...) Have also seen the Blooms on TV over here. I believe that they also develop breeds of conifers...and the father was a host on the U.S. Public network out of Boston, of a gardening show called "The victory Garden"...this was about the time I moved and lost the ability to see the US programming...AND I must add that this is all from my sometimes faulty memory..I think this is all factual though...will have to check out your links and refresh my memory more accurately! LOL..Foggy Bottom...won't forget that.

Beautiful, large puckered leaves and not a Slug in sight - perfect Lori. :-)
Just read your profile . . . 8 acres - good grief! You're going to have a lot of fun with all that space. Can't wait to see what you get up to. :-))

hello Mw! There is so much space that I'm like a kid in a candy store...I keep switching from one favourite spot to the next...and don't really do any justice to any of them! Finally got my bearings tho...decided to work nearest the house...and designate three areas of concentration...the stream, the meadow and the pond. Been busy adding finishing touches to the deck which I built last summer...and a trellis and oblelisk...a waterfall (in the stream)...a rock garden near the road, perennial beds, waterloving plants near the stream...and clearing out the deadfalls in the forest!...whew...good thing I don't stop to take stock of the agenda too often...I'm tired now..think I'll go lay down. LOL....

Wish I could "do", by dreaming....wouldn't that be lovely?
Think I'll dream up a rose covered pergola, or a mill pond, complete with mill, race and wheel! ...a duck pond, an allee of gleditsia...a japanese garden.... topiary hedge....
