He has changed Karen , I think he may have fallen out of favour , we like to try to be organic but not to the stage where we are living amongst carpets rubbish and piles of old tyres etc. he relys on selling his books now ,living on past fame , the books he has there are all £20 each !

He's good ...

Yes, nothing very organic about a tyre is there...unless you count it as a rubber tree! :D But I used to find him a lot of fun when I saw him on telly, and I think he used to do GQT as well didn't he?

He still writes in Amateur Gardening mag, doesn't he?

He certainly does not look a happy bunny does he......

He knows his stuff alright I image he must have been a kind of ' Hippy' in his younger days and still lives like that ..... I liked the idea of his rubber trees Karen :)

Perhaps he's fed up with the weather too? He still appears in the GW Magazine.

he still writes in the Eastern daily as well Gee ..
Isn't it a shame you get geared up for one eventful day and it's ruined by the weather , treat yourself to a nice cream cake and watch it in comfort Carol :o)

Yes he does look a bit dejected Amy, he's maybe not been too well in himself...has he still got that long plait?
We saw the Olympic torch sailing down Windermere to Bowness yesterday, of course it was sailing down on the right hand side, which was a shame as everyone waiting was on the left!

Who is he, Amy? Some kind of organic gardening propagator? That cigar in his mouth bothers me then :)))
24 Jun, 2012
Yes he still has the plait Janey ,At least you were there and saw the torch we haven't seen it yet ! isn't that just typical that they should go down the wrong side , Lake Windermere is beautiful , we could have met you there if our plans had been different ! Yes Kat he is an Organic gardener ,he write for magazines , newspaper columns etc. plus he sells his own books , I'm pleased to say there isn't a cigar at all a trick of the photo it's something behind him that looks like a cigar ... :o))
24 Jun, 2012
:))) That´s a good trick! :)
Will have to check something written by him on internet...what did you ask him?
25 Jun, 2012
I asked him some questions about the Mistletoe I'm growing on my apple trees also several other questions , He took his time and answered them all very thoroughly !

Hmm...wonder if he's been unwell, or out of favour......looks unhappy somehow. Still, people are often very different 'in the flesh' aren't they. Not the smiley open-faced enthusiast I am used to seeing Amy!
