Asphodelus 'Alba'

A new plant to me Kathy, its lovely.

This really is stunning Dawn around 4ft tall, I grew it from seed but only got 1 plant :-(, mind you did only have 5 seeds so suppose thats not bad, hoping to get some seed from it this year :-)

They seem to be a little picky from seed - I got only three of the yellow form to germinate.

They do don't they Meanie, I only got 3 yellow too :-), no sign of flowers on that one this year though :-(

I'm not expecting much from my clump as it was lifted and bought with me when I moved..........

It makes a lovely specimen plant Kathy I like it a lot!!

A new one to me to Kathy ,I'm glad it survived the winter for you .......

If it can survive that winter it can survive anything Dawn,lol, is a really good size plant this year.
Only grew my yellow from seed last year Meanie, in fact think it was your seed :-) so I'm expecting a bit much for them to flower this year aren't I, maybe next :-)

My seedlings are constantly being munched by something.............

I like the look of this one.....

Kathy, I have been googling and trying everywhere to get this, but haven't found a nursery yet that supplies it.

Hi Pam nice to see you on here haven't seen you post for a while :-)), no I've never seen this for sale either I swapped the seeds for this on a swap shop, I had 5 seeds and got just the one plant, hoping to get some seed from it this year, fingers crossed, if I do I'll save you some, I'll put myself a reminder :-)

Oh well done you Kathy, How long before getting to flower? No, I've been a bit lazy, but this chat will get me going again, although I'm away for a few days, when I come back I'll do some posting. Bye for now.
