Plants happy in the sunshine

That is beautiful, Sheilabub! Lovely planting, and such a good contrast with the lawn behind - such beautiful greens. What are the tall plants in the back left of the picture?

Thanks Mel. The tall plants are Poppies and Corncockle in my "meadow" patch. I'll try a photo of them soon.

Sorry Scottish, but the occasional day of blue sky and a few fluffy clouds is such a treat, I can't help but revel in it. Maybe you'll get some soon. :))

i just came back from scotland, scottish ~ not one drop of rain for a whole week!!

You must not have been anywhere near Edinburgh then Sticki...lol! It hasn't stopped here all week. Were you on the west coast Sticki?

Harris for a week but one day on Lewis! Some cloud some sun but no rain!
Rained most of the way up to Rannock Moor then no rain till we came back onto Skye one week later.

very lucky karen, its normally their best weather but i never quite expect it. some cloudy days but some sun.

So nice to hear you had a good time, Sticki! One of my sons spent exactly this week (4 years ago) on a camping trip down the isles. He had fantastic weather, and loved it.

Yes - it was just after my daughter's wedding in Glasgow, and he did it with a friend. I am quite jealous. I love Scotland but have only been to Skye (in terms of the islands, that is) He camped on the beach in a couple of places. They used his car, which eventually gave up the ghost on one of the islands (not sure which). Not the easiest place to get a tow from the AA, but it didn't seem to spoil the holiday for him (car didn't arrive home until some days after he did!)

good thing he wasnt camping on one of the beaches that is a runway!!!
