I thought that when I saw them Dawn , they were so bright and big flowers to but then I have noticed the hedgerows are brimming over with them this year , we had to take our wild rose down out of our Monkey Puzzle tree it was smothering it :o(

I love these. And the rose hips later. Nobody feeds them or prunes them or trains them, but they look so healthy.

You are so right Ojib , they don't seem to suffer from normal garden diseases ,I expect they have built up immunity over years ....
