He has lots of money and can afford big plants!
He's recently created a woodland garden with a pond and I guess has spent about £1500 on plants alone and that's at auction prices. At normal retail they would have cost nearer to £5000.
I'm benefiting though . I've had lots of cuttings/divisions in particular salvias,artemisias,sanguisorbas and hostas.

I wish I could say I did but no. I have built a quite similar one in the past .
Although it looks good there's not very much to it.
Mark out a circle , .divide it into 4 , use the division lines as the centre of paths, use gravel or pavers to make the paths(gravel is much easier) plant box along the edges of the paths and all around the circle.
Fill in the resulting 4 sections with plants of your choice.
The tedious and expensive bit bit is planting hundreds of box and then ofcourse clipping the box several times a year.
Not my cup of tea effort wise but they look nice
