Hey why is yours flowering and mine is not lol [still looks healthy though] I think I can see the Francoa I gave you mine are doing very well lots of tall spires that should be flowering very soon, if the sun comes out.;0)

That is lovely Bloomer. Do you cut yours back after flowering and does it then give another show? Just planted one of these myself and my flowers have finished - don't know whether to cut back or let it seed?

I like the pretty foliage as well ......

Thanks everyone...It has been flowering it's socks off since spring in this border..but the ones in a shady border in the back garden are only just starting....

Muddy,I cut the flowers off as soon as they finish and just trim it to the next leaves down..it should keep going all summer..but if it's getting too straggly,give it a decent trim,,it will flower again..I find it's almost non stop ..I have never noticed mine seeding anywhere..I propagate by splitting...tough as old boots..:o)

Carole,I don't recognise the name you mentioned..Francoa ? The only one I have in this pic,is the Alchemelia Mollis (spelling? )..you gave me..halfway down the pic on the right .help me out please :o)

Sorry Sandra after a closer look it was the Geum leaves I could see, did I not give you a Francoa? I will ahve a look at my pictures and let you know where you can see one!

I was racking my brains (doesn't take long) wondering about a Francoa..I really haven't heard of it,Carole..I will look forward to seeing what it looks like..don't worry if you can't find it,I can always google it :o)
