Eryngium Jade Frost now starting to flower .

I think this seems to be a very good plant. The basal leaves are very attractive and it seems to be flowering well too. In case you haven't seen it, the pic before this one shows it's lovely variegated rosette of leaves when I bought it;-)

Hi Pump, I got this from Cotswold Garden Flowers. Bob Brown was at a plant fair at Consall Hall Gardens, (fantastic place which you would know had you looked at my Consall Hall blog) and I fell for the leaves, always liked eryngiums:-)

Very nice colour indeed! My eryngiums didnt flower in their first year but this year they are showing plenty of blooms and very happy with them. Will look out for this one to add to the collection :-)

This is very blue now Paul, a lovely colour. I may try some silver ghost seeds as this looks very happy here. Eryngerons weren't keen on my old garden:-)
