No Sheila, I have to be strict due to my limited space. It would be so fab to have one when in full bloom and scent though. Then put it away till next year.

Lovely. I bought one last year but it didn't flower and this morning I noticed that it now has its first flower but didn't bend down to have a sniff so will check out if mine has a nice smell tomorrow!

Hi Pimp, there are a couple of dwarf varieties that are less than 3ft tall, Philadelphus 'Manteau d'Hermine' is one. It has double flowers and a gorgeous scent. Philadelphus microphyllus is another :-)
