I have a passion for making Topiary shapes whenever it is possible, the small balls were once an over grown Cottoneaster Hedge which we cut right back to the ground, as the new growth started to appear I trimmed it into ball or cones shapes to give more interest. I have done this throughout the borders with any suitable plants and shrubs, ie conifers, Euonymus, Hebe, box, and anything with a small leaves, nothing is safe from me lol

Brilliant! I do love topiary but I'm afraid I don't have the discipline to keep them in shape. Maybe one day I'll have a go though!
