Looks fantastic . . . I used to love skiing! Ever had a go Meadowland?

We have a couple of ski centres within striking distance here, but I have to admit I'd rather ski indoors even at -2C, without the wind and blizzards. This looks much more fun.

I went to live in Switzerland in my twenties, and skiied every weekend in the winter . . . loved everything about it except for the pain when freezing feet started to warm up!

I hope you took part in the 'apres ski'- my favourite!

I love watching Ski Sunday... I love watching other people ski... But me and ski-ing do not go together at all! I fell off the ski lift, which had to be stopped while my Italian Ski instructor came to rescue me! You should have seen the size of the bruises on my thighs - I'm not joking they were the size of dinner plates and were black and blue. I said never again...

I bet they had a great time there.

Oooh Tracey . . . I fell off a chair-lift once, and my boyfriend leapt off too, to help me! I married him :))

Sheila - my husband was already at the top of the ski slope! He watched it all happen from afar and couldn't help! (We were both learners in ski school classes!) Not to worry - I lived to tell the tale! :D

i loved it but found the real slopes easier than the dry ski or the ski slope in telford

btw the ski instructors were nice ~ which helps a lot!!

one of the group used to fall over on purpose and lie at the bottom of the slope saying help help!! [she didnt want us helping!!!]
