Sunflowers

A nice bonus :o)

I bought two packets of sunflower seeds, one dwarf and one large, but not one germinated :( Next time I will try planting the bird seed :)

Its worked for me, mind you i planted about 9/10 of the sunflower seeds and 4 as taken, but pleased with that as its made more food for the birds this winter, which is why i grew them for the birds:)

I never thought about doing that for the birds,Carol..good idea :o)..I will try that next year...thanks :o)

Sunflowers always make me smile. The only ones that grow for me come from bird seed - if I try to sow them myself, they never seem to succeed!

Thought it was the birds who succeed Mel.......sorry....:)))

Think i'll stick to bird seedif they dont grow not lost anything and if they do like these then the birds have gained :o)))
