Lovely photo.very few bees around this year it must be from all the rain we had here

Thanks Johnjoe. Hardly any bees this year :o( Watched a nature programme the other evening which did say bees can't/won't fly in the rain. No wonder then with our 'summer'

Me , too, love bumble bees. Did you know that honey bees pollinate 70% of the world's plants. They love the drumstick alium so please plant some.

They are readily available,N3..mine are called Allium
Shoenopraesum..so it said on the packet :o) .and no,I can't pronounce it..so Drumstick is what I call them ...most garden centres have them..I love mine, and butterflies love them too...Early Autumn is a good time to plant them :o)
