A much bluer blue than mine, which seems to be turning pink this year!

They were a really bright blue Gee, is it just an old wives tale that you bury rusty metal under them to turn them blue, it might be worth a try :o)

They are really beautiful aren't they? I've got a pink hydrangea that is 30 years old!!! It was a cutting given to me by my Father-in-law. It's moved around in a pot from house to house, but when we moved to our current house I decided to plant it. It's grown considerably in the last few years, but this year it has had the highest number and the most huge flowers - and now some are turning blue-ish!!! How do you explain that??? lol
Perhaps we should put it down to the weather!!!

All that rain no doubt, they like a good soaking and this year they sure got that!! Lovely to still have a special plant going strong after 30 years, I sadly lost my New Dawn Rose that my Father gave me years ago in last winters bad weather, so take a cutting just in case then you wont lose yours to the bad weather :o)
