I got myself bitten today - damn mosquito things - bloody hurt - well not bitten but injected - I worry you can't catch anything can you !

Oh Paul, you are like me. I got bitten by a Tick this week and was worrying myself silly for two days until it stopped hurting and itching! Mozzies in the UK...I don't think they carry anything though, but if you get a bad reaction like me, it's awful. Last two Clegg bites I've had have had me unable to walk and needing anti-biotics. I hate biting insects with a passion. Thank goodness we have relatively few here. I won't go near the highlands during the summer for the Mozzies. A total no-no!

I love the summer :D like it about 22 degrees rather than 30. Winter is just stupid and wish they'd ban putting clocks back an hour

Super picture - I try and try, but I can NEVER "catch" the bees!

My worst bites are horse flies. Many years ago, I was bitten on the leg by one when we were clearing out a stream at home, and had to be sent home from school next day - I could hardly walk, it was so swollen. But I soon recovered! Still get a nasty reaction to things occasionally, though.

beautfully timed photo, never seen a bee in action before, hardly seen any bees at all so far, but then, not many flowers about yet to attract them.

Well caught - great picture!

Thanks everyone. Horse flies are called Cleggs up here Melchi and they are my worst too.
