Thank you so much Paul. This Rose looks really good under the Cornus Controversa. It fills in the space under the first tier and pokes up between the branches. I love it!

It's ....I would say it's well scented...let me see....about 6/10 I would say. Gertrude Jekyll being 10!

ten seconds later: I'm amazed by the plants that you *can't* find on the RHS plnat-finder site - copied and pasted in the picture title, nothing, took out the quotes, nothing, even took out the "rosa",nothing. But Shoot! has it, and gave enough info for me to add it to my "definite maybe" list.

Karen I am having some Laurels taken out from beside my garage next week and I'm thinking of planting a mixture of roses and shrubs there. This is a patch of garden that I have never shown on here but I will take some before and after shots x
