Gorgeous Colour is this a new one?

Thanks - and no, this is their third season. It was the time I went to town on the wretched anonymous pink Geraniums - I took loads out and replanted the area. The dark leaves behind them are a Sambucus nigra.

Great colour Barbara, I bought lots of 'posh' crocosmia last year and had one from Bjs too. I thought they had all rotted in the wet, but have found one just flowering, unfortunately i don't know which it is. It looks quite similar to this, but I know it's not the same:-)

I want Emily McKenzie - but try as I would, she just will not settle. I've planted 50 or more corms, and two pots. No luck. Nothing. :-((

I lost my solfatare, a very attractive one with bronzeish leaves. I wonder why some take over and others find it not quite to their liking? Maybe where they grow naturally? You'd think at least those on pots would be fine as you can give them everything they want in the way of soil and dryness. Another of lifes little mysteries eh:-))

We lost Solfatare and Emily McKenzie and also Citronella, yet we had no trouble growing them in the midlands, like the colour of yours B looks good with the Sambucus, we are starting a new collection again.......will take better care of them this time!!

How? Is there a secret?

I always thought they like well drained and that this dreadful wet weather just rotted many, but can't explain those growing in my little bog garden ....some seem to thrive whatever. I bet Lucifer is doing well Barbara:-)

Yes, that one did. No problems there - it's almost finished now.
