New last year,and it has grown so big...even though the label said in brackets...dwarf Chinese ! ..I don't think so .:o)

Thank you,Dwyllis..it was only £2 from a supermarket garden centre,last year..a shame you can't grow it..they do prefer a more shaded area,and preferably damp or well watered..

Thanks Cinders..It's only had the occasional liquid feed,when I have remembered,but well watered,with all that rain..so it must be happy with that..:o)

I see what you mean,Paul..that's another theory out of the window then ! Lol....I must say,some of the Fanal ones get a lot of sunshine..when we get it..! but I try to water them well at the roots..

It did really well for it's first full year,so really pleased with it..it's all brown now,but I'm leaving them on for a little while yet..I quite like them when they are dead too ! :o))..strange person that I am .Lol.

I cut all three of mine down after flowering ... and they've all come back up with new foliage ... I expect flowers this late would be too much to ask for? .......
