That's a fantastic view you have Yorkie, at least you have something beautiful to look at while you rest your toe:-)

26 Aug, 2012

the view down the road is even better just fields and cattle,

26 Aug, 2012

Lucky you, all I can see is other houses:-)

26 Aug, 2012

that's rotten luck, we can see right over the village from our lounge

26 Aug, 2012

That's the beauty of hilly places, they always look more beautiful than flatish ones:-)

26 Aug, 2012

we are a mile up from the village

26 Aug, 2012

Not so easy on the old toe though eh. I suppose when it's better you could put a pair of roller skates on and just whiz down to the shops? Is it an olde worldy type village, with just a few independant shops and a pub or is it more commercialised?:-)

26 Aug, 2012

olde worldy, a co-op a lidl, bakers, hard ware shop, florist, etc etc, a library, charity shops, pub closed down, but there are another two, no way could I ever walk up the mile its far to steep, Ralph could not walk it either,

27 Aug, 2012

Neither could I.Yorkshire..too steep for me too..but Russell clever clogs would have no problem! :o)...That's why you will always see me trailing behind him ...even on the flat.:o)

27 Aug, 2012

That's one of the compromises when living in beautiful hilly places isn't it ... worth it though I should think so long as you have a car:-)

27 Aug, 2012

definately need a car B/A, thanks H/B glad you like it,
