Tulln gardens.

Hi Fran, I can´t read it as well, lol. Too much sun over there in that spot,
These hotels are expensive in Tulln, too. I think they cost there around 200 euros. That´s a monthly rent for a one room flat in Slovakian capital :)))

shee! I don't think they're that expensive over here, but then I've not seen ones as big as these.
I've seen some "how-to"s for this, and just looked for some more - lol it might be work out almost as expesive to buy the bits and put them together, but there'd be the satisfaction of doing-it-yourself
I put "mae insect house" into Google and got dozens of hits - this one's extraordinary, made out of six whole pallets - now, that's what I call a serious "hotel"!!!

lol now who do we know who's always making handy garden items out of oldpallets ...

There are two whom I know, but just one is making insect hotels and they aren´t made from pallets. Whom do you mean? :)

there's a GoYer who makes a lot of things from pallet wood, tables, benches, benches and so on. I won't mention hjs name to save his modesty (and also, to be honest, I can't bring it to mind at the moment!)

Well, if his name comes to your mind, let us know :)) The only guy on GoY who makes insect hotels is Mark. As far as I know.

that must be able to hold a lot of insects! and of many types; I've seen some for sale, but much smaller and quite expesive for what htey are. I can see that there's something carved over the nearest one, but I can't quite make out what it says.
