Canna Russian Red.....

I have one with similar color leaves. It has small red flowers. I've been trying to dig it out for the last year or so...but it comes back all year. You're lucky you have your plant in a pot.

I will keep it in the pot over the winter, but it will be planted in the ground from March, they are not reliably hardy, even here!! I am hoping it will treble in growth.......

I've seen them very large about 10 - 12 ft tall. Mine only used to grow to 8ft tall, then it would bloom.

It's amazing your Canna can grow this large in that small container.

Lol you should have seen the container it was in before, we have potted it on!!

It's too bad you can't put into the ground.
