I really am liking this one it is so bright.

yet another nice one ,where have all these new varieties come from, ten years ago there were only about ten different ones available.At least thats all I ever came across.
Perhaps i should pollinate a few and see what comes up:

I know Bjs - I had no idea there were so many different ones. Have a look at this website (the gardens are not far from me) guess where I am off to lol :O) www.thecrocosmiagardens.net/ I had no idea that this was so close to my home. This internet thingy is something else I just googled crocosmia collections and I could not believe my eyes. It is about 15 miles from me.

Just had a brief look at that site will go back to it later it is full of information about them,First thing i picked up on was that Emily McKenzie needs planting at least 4in deep, sure that would be the reason for me loosing it in the past,when i have purchased it the corms were almost at soil level so thats how i planted them.Silly me.
