Hydrangeas on the island of Tresco.

I love them when they are this pale shade of blue. They were growing wild in the hedgerows.

Are they naturally blue, or did you manure it with a special fertiliser?

They are not in our garden but they are growing in an acid soil which makes the flowers blue or mauve instead of pink.

I know, it just that you hardly reach this colour even in acidic soil in common garden, you have to add special fertiliser. Very nice.
