Bampy its not that uncommon,at the moment its about 8ft up a Magnolia Stellata,disappears back underground for winter.
In the spring it sends up new shoots which are devoured by slugs a week or so later it sends up another lot and for some reason nothing touches them same pattern every year and it has been with me for at least 20 years.

It seems Wisley Gardens have this plant but no picture of it in flower and approached me for permission to display one of my pictures in the wild garden area there.
I think they are useing one I posted on GOY in August.
