Honeysuckle

Bit of an odd one this, to keep the cats off my middle flower bed when i trimmed my honeysuckle in springtime i pushed the clippings into the bed, walking round today i found one of the clippings have rooted and is now flowering... what a result ...

your welcome Amy, when i do these as cuttings normally it's always spring and like a normal cutting below a leaf node push into gritty compost, but this way looks good too :-))

Mine didn t grow very well this year. I think, it was too hot or too dry weather for it.

They do need some regular watering Kat so it probably it was to dry...

I found a piece that had been trying to layer its self it had roots Slad so have cut it off and potted it up , fingers crossed for that !
