thanks Rose, no they are the seed heads of Lythrum, have left them on for a little while as they look so good still. :O)

:o) Lovely, still waiting for the really pink asters to start at the top of this border will post pictures of them when they do they are really lovely and they look like they are going to have lots of flowers, just hope for sun to keep shining to help them on their way.

I'm still waiting for Aster 'Lady in Black' to flower.....I really hope it does.

My dark one is not flowering yet either. I am hoping it comes it looks ok just very late.

Yup, mine has grown really well and it's over 4' tall now, but I can't see any flower buds on it at all.....here's hoping!
