getting together a blog about all the autumn fungi...I have over 100 photos!..don't worry...won't post them all! lol...

Thanks Amy...haven't got up the nerve to try the puffballs. I remember my father's stearn admonition..."never breathe the "dust"...as I found stomping the sporefilled dried puffballs in the sawmill yard, a temptation too great to resist!
Thanks Dorjac: I made the public statement that I was doing a blog, in part to ensure continuing efforts ...lol. There is sooo much info and so many different fungi...and it's going to require some research work..before I can put it together. I have made the commitment ..now I have to follow through. must not backslide...

Small young Puff balls are good to eat I slice them dip them in a beaten egg and then fry them not to be mistaken with the Earth ball ! I expect these are all collected on your land Lori , well done in keeping a record of them :o)
