This Crepe Myrtle will not grow outside where you live. It's hardiness is borderline, even here in San Diego.

I meant to say: Queen's Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia speciosa) which is very tropical. Sorry!
Lagerstroemia indica - Crape Myrtle is very, very hardy. It grows everywhere here, too. I'm sure it'll grow very well there, also.

I do like Queen's Crape Myrtle better. It is much more spectacular when in bloom.
