Just becareful of your hands if you do Bloomer, the leaves can be razor sharp.. I speak from experience! lol.. These are such wonderful looking plants Annella and this is lovely. Had to remove my one because it became such a monster, but strangely enough I still miss it now and then.. The way the plumes catch the light is breathtaking..They almost glow..\0/x

I agree with above...lovely! I am definitely becoming a grasses convert! p.s. very heavy and prolonged rain on the Costa del Sol :( typical ;) x

It really is the star of the front border at this time of year. Bloomer this one is about 6 years old now and very compact. One I would recommend for smaller gardens.

Me too bloomer, it would be great in my front garden. I had to remove the Stipa Gigantea as it got too sprawly and massive. This looks much tidier.

I'm glad you like it too,Karen..maybe we will have pics like this,to show someday :o)

It is small compared to the old fashioned pampas grass girls but it puts on the same show with beautiful gold/white striped leaves that look good all year :o))

Sounds even better :o)

The shape of your house looks just like ours Annella, except that we have only one window where you have two & ours is built in stone. It's pretty old about 1924 I think.
