Mine have just started blooming in the last week or so, so I'm ready and willing to soothe those withdrawal symptoms of yours, Simbad!!! Snow, already? We're experiencing some very warm days here now, so we know the Summer is not far off.

Simbad, Summer here of course means the start of our wet season. The predictions are for a light wet this coming summer and very few cyclones, so it may be one of the easiest Summers we've had in some time. Fingers crossed.
We definitely need the rain as our dry season has been another long one this year.

Janey, it's slightly darker in real life, but the photo is not a bad representation.

Maybe the UK's not so bad after all then Bernieh:-)

Simbad, I think they are good things to be said about both places, but I know I'll always complain about our summers!

This is very nice! Is it a smallish one?

This one is not all that small, Daglelie. It stands around 60 cm tall and the flower is around 12- 15 cms across.
