I have a friend in Maryland ... she was far enough inland to dodge most of the damage from Hurricane Sandy... but I feel sorry for others .. the UK television has shown the destruction in areas such as NY and NJ.

What's pretty funny is that the National Weather Service is naming all the big storms now. Winter Storm Brutus is hitting many of the western states, right now.
