Stunning collection of conifers and grasses. Very impressive and beautiful, Bluespruce. Probably more so in the fall, right?

Oh, wow Blue! Your garden is really incredible, gorgeous autumn colouring...I especially like the small golden standard on the left, and what are those tagged in front?

very lovely:-)))

I guess so Klahanie, more contrast between the fall colours of most of the grasses and deciduous conifers, larches in particular up against the more sombre tones of the other conifers.
Jane - the golden standard is a larch, I've pruned it that way, normally it would be fuller and foliaged to the ground.
The tagged conifers in front are in the main miniature pines grafted up on higher stems, just a different way of growing some of the minis, very popular with European collectors especially.

Well, what can I say. I am impressed. It was very entertaining to read all the comments Terra. Great poetry too. Thanks for the link.

Love the Larch, are you going to keep it pruned Blue? Those little miniatures are really unusual, like tiny cloud pruned types.

Hello Jane, sorry, missed your comment ...
and yes will keep the Larch pruned from now on, besides, although you can't see them from the pic got a few bits planted very near to the base, so can't afford to let it grow away again.

Ah I see, saw on Countryfile that Larches are going through a similar problem to the Ash trees, you'll have to keep your eye on them Blue, this wasn't in your area though.
