This Crinum hybrid is just starting to bloom in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. on Nov. 13, 2012.

Yes, I really love the Amaryllidaceae family. I have several Crinum hybrids. My tropical Crinum 'Queen Emma' lily is blooming right now. This is one of the largest Crinum hybrids I know. I've seen it as large as 12ft (3.7m) tall here and in Hawai'i. My plants are only 5ft (1.5m) tall.

Even 5ft is impressive Delonix. Would love to see the 12 footer.

I've read people have grown them to 15ft. Although, plants to 8ft is more common (in the ground).
