Fatsia flowers tend to attract the hoverflies. We had a large fatsia in our last garden. The plant is very attractive and doesn't seem to mind the harsh winters.

Thanks for all your kind comments, not sure how much longer the flowers will last though, quite cold tonight, but it has stopped raining, thank goodness!! not long till spring lol!!
