Katarina, it's a beautiful place to visit. The volcano is in the middle of a lake on Luzon Island in the Philippines. It last erupted in 1977 but as recently as 2011 alerts were raised (according to Wikepedia).
I have swam in the lake - it is truly a lovely sight.
