Superb! One flew out of the hedgerow and right next to my car this afternoon! Surprising how big they are.not a bird we often see close up as never visit my garden!

do you take multiple photos to get these type of shots ie on sports mode?

They are huge! and so are some of my bumble bees!

Well, not that good, but captured the action!! just trying, alongside a young journalist new to our local paper, to try and get our club a bit of coverage as we've had a few bad years including losing our ground so some people think the club doesn't exist anymore!!

seems there are a few like you in the same position ~ even some big clubs!

I'd love to photograph for publication, how exciting!

Oh, nothing exciting Lulu! Just that I chat a lot to the young journalist for our local paper(he sits near me at home games..him writing up his report ,me doing the announcing) and he's very willing to help keep our club in the public eye so it doesn't die.But he, of course, doesn't go to away matches like mad me and so he said if I could get a decent action pic he'd put it in!
