Alexandramou:

What are the daily highs?

29 Jan, 2013

This year............every day is so different, I don't think it's dropped under 10C during the days. It hasn't really been "cold" where I live yet.

29 Jan, 2013

Even a high temp of 10ºC (50ºF) is really very cold!

We've had very strange weather this January. The cold snap a few weeks back, then very warm weather for over a week...now, cool weather the last two days...then it's suppose to get back up to around 74ºF (23ºC) for 4 days or so then cool down again! I hate topsy-turvy weather!!!

You are spoiled Delonix!

I don't like topsy-turvy weather either.

Yes, 80ºF (27ºC) by Friday and warm weather for the next 7 days. The forecast was changed, no cool weather returning any time soon. YAY! :>)

Yes, we're extremely spoiled here in San Diego. That's why I live here. Although, even as I get older the very little cool weather we do get here, affects me.

One day I may have to move back to Hawaii, where the weather is truly warm to hot and tropical all year. Winter morning lows typically stay above 70ºF (21ºC) and winter daytime temps are almost always 82ºF (28ºC) or above (yes everyday in January! LOL!) The ocean temp averages about 80ºF (27ºC) in January, also. :>)

STOP......I might have to move to Hawaii too! ;o)))

You're not that old! lol...

31 Jan, 2013

You would love it in Hawaii! You're used to living on an Island anyway, right? LOL! :>)

Older than you think. :>) The cold really bothers me. I'm like my grandfather. My grandfather thought about moving to the mainland (California) many times (from Honolulu); however, he could never tolerate cold weather his whole life.

I remember visiting my grandfather during January and he was complaining to high Heaven that they were "freezing" because the morning low or windchill was 68ºF (20ºC). Can you imagine? LOL!

All kidding aside, Hawaii has been my number 1 place to visite since I was a kid.

I can easily see myself living there! I'm not much for the cold either. I feel the cold more than others...that's no help.

I can live with a morning low of 20C. ;o)))

I have a feeling we are around the same age Delonix. ;o)

You would love the beautiful tropical plants and trees, especially in the tropical rainforest areas. Virtually all beaches are filled with many tall coconut trees. Large Plumeria trees are grown there by the millions.

The morning lows in summer usually average around 80ºF (27ºC) and highs are around 90ºF (32ºC). The temps stay pretty even throughout the whole year. The Trade winds keep the temps from getting too hot.

I think we had this conversation about age a while back, I think I'm about 6 or 7 years older than you, from what I remember.
