They are so beautiful, just wished I'd had the zoom lens!!! Would have been a cracker of a shot!

A friend of mine had one for many years that lived in her house called Shadow (Owl not house) and they had it stuffed when it died. When they'd only had it a short time, it sat on my arm...looked straight into my eyes looking very cute ... grabbed my lip in its beak and wouldn't let go lol. I wasn't laughting at the time, more of a yell. Any visitors would ask if they had put the owl away before entering as it was very territorial:-)

I had a wee snake once...I thought that when he died I'd make him into a belt but I had to leave him behind when I moved on! so no belt with a good story behind it!
