There are very few signs of any more to come. It's so disappointing. I wonder if they have rotted in all the wet weather we had this year.

What a pity the damp has rotted so many of your bulbs. I'm glad you have at least a few flowering !

Hardly any of my crocus are showing signs, have got one yellow one peeping thru the gravel on the front garden, and I know there were loads last year. Lots sprouting in the pots planted this year, hopefully they'll flower.

I've a couple just popping through were it got quite wet for days/weeks on end. Maybe some of them are just a bit slow HB.

It would be interesting to know how many of you have squirrels around, they are more likely to be the culprits than rotting.
Unless of course they were planted last Autumn and yet to reach there right depth then they may rot.

I don't have a squirrel problem. It would be interesting to know if that's the case Brian. I must have a better look tomorrow. I know there are some elsewhere that I'm not expecting to appear as it was so flooded but 2 hellebore are fighting back against the odds!

That's so disappointing for you Hb ... Sparrows are already shredding the remaining yellow ones that weren't touched by the mice ... it's a constant battle ! ... :o(

Oh dear what a shame, I expect we will all lose some plants this year due to the constant rain and cold....

Sorry about your loss HB. I put in 30 early flowering daff bulbs & have 9 flowers, the rest have come up blind. That will teach me not to buy them in packets from Homebase. perhaps next year they'll be ok.

What a coincidence, I have just written to someone to say that I feel sure lots of our bulbs MUST have rotted in the ground. I am so sorry that you have lost some too - we were looking forward to a nice display weren't we?
Imagine though, being a little crocus bulb in constant wet, cold conditions - it is no wonder they didn't make it is it?
