Gorgeous flower ... I found seven tiny Hellebore seedlings this morning ... have potted them up and wonder if they'll come true to the Orientalis type ... doubt I'll be that lucky though!

Thanks girls. Love the new avatar Shirley. I have some Helebore seedlings showing buds too, they are about three years old now, so hoping for something good.

Do Hellebore seedlings take that long Cinders, have only a couple, and at the moment they're stuck in muddy soil. Have also heard that they don't like to be moved, is this true. Thinking of taking them out of the border and potting them up.

Yes, I have found they take about that long to flower from seedlings, as for moving them, well if they are young I have moved some around and they have been ok.
