I've only just found out an I.D. for this lovely thing. It was one of two pass-along Brassocattleya Orchids.

I had to look up Pleione, and you're right, mine is similar.

i kept my pleiones outside all summer but now have two in bloom in the house, one deep pink ~ a lovely present from a Goy member and one white one

They sound lovely! I have to admit I don't have any plants inside my house at all. Everything is outside, but my Orchids are sheltered a little in the shadehouse garden.

So gorgeous! I've never heard of this hybrid before...although, I know there's millions.
I hope my Cattleyas bloom this year; last year none bloomed.

This was the first year these little pass-along Orchids bloomed, Andy. They took a while, but the wait was worth it. I feel sure your Cattleyas will reward you beautifully as well.

It's such an interesting hybrid. Glad it bloomed well for you!
I hope my Cattleyas bloom this year. I think they need fertilizer, though.
