A new conservatory plant. Arrived today in full bloom...what a lovely thing! Evergreen as well.

Looks like a member of the pea family, going by the flowers. Its gorgeous.

Cinders, it is a member of the papilionaceae or Fabaceae family and is indeed part of the pea family. I was fascinated to see how large this family is! Thank you!

Isn't it....I am relieved its ok....I've come home from working at Glamis Castle to find OH had shut the door to the conservatory and its been bright sun on it all afternoon....aaaaargh!.....but all seems ok. He will have to get some 'instruction'!

Down here in Cornwall Karen I can grow it outside on the side of our cottage. Very often in flower for Boxing Day. You can also get a white one which is rather nice, so yours could have a companion. :o))
