Thanks Marguerite , We have had some more snow flurries today it's still bitterly cold we wrapped up warm to go for a good walk this afternoon we were glad to get back home to sit in front of the cosy woodburner for warmth ....

Sunshine here today Amy, cold air still, I took Lottie to Normanby; the walled garden is bare, everything is waiting for the soil to warm up a little. We went into the heated glasshouse and sat on a new Lutyens seat they have for half an hour in the sunshine....it was beautiful!...:o))

We had snow first thing this morning Janey big fluffy flakes , the sun shone through later but it was still bitterly cold , you had a nice outing to Normanby it's nice thats it's not to far from you to be able to visit often Lottie will know her way round by now , Holkam hall use to have a very nice walled garden centre within the hall grounds we use to love going there but it became run down the greenhouses were falling apart ,it has been shut for the last couple of years we are to understand that it is going through a regeneration process to bring it back to how it was in years gone by ,I'm looking forward to seeing it when it reopens ... You should have taken your flask and sandwiches into the glasshouse LOL x ......

Ha..ha.....yes I should! It's only a few minutes away though, we often pop in an afternoon, it's somewhere that we can let Lottie off for a run, she knows the road now and talks all the way...lol. That's a shame about Holkam Hall, I remember seeing signs for it when we went to Blakeny, it sounds as if theyre going to be doing a good job and it'll be really interesting to see it and how things were when it's open again...:))
