Brilliant colours, Lulu - I can just taste them now. We came back from holiday yesterday to find a huge back of Calabrian lemons (big, sweet and ugly), covered in snow on our doorstep. I've got to summon up the energy and sugar to start making marmalade. Not feeling very enthusiastic but don't like to waste them.

I feel the same too, when there is something in the fridge that desperately needs cooking and I don't quite feel like it.....but I always do it!
I made some carrot soup last night even that I felt sleepy. My OH is training for the London Marathon and needs his healthy soups. He drank the whole lot today whilst standing in a bucket of iced water having just run 20 miles!

I only looked for them because OH said he liked them! Cheaper than oranges! A whole big bad for a quid!

Iced water? In that dreadful weather you've been having? Couldn't he just stand outside in the snow?

That was the plan Mouldy...but only enough juice for other half and as he's the one running the marathon And needs his vits more than I, I drank the wine instead!
